Brad Jones the Taxidermist in his McDonough, Georgia Taxidermy Studio

Welcome to Brad Jones Taxidermy

Like many youngsters, I started tagging along behind my Dad, learning to hunt and fish, when I was just five years old. Since then I've been hooked on the outdoors. If you are like me, hunting and fishing isn't just a hobby, it's a passion.

I got my start in taxidermy almost thirty years ago. As a kid, I dabbled with mounting and painting fish, squirrels and eventually a deer. I loved the science and the art of it all. From early on I started learning all I could from the men I hung around with. I perfected my craft by listening and learning to some of the best in the business. Guys like Matt Thompson, Don Mathis and Butch Cox all helped me learn the ins and outs of taxidermy. After long hours of hard work and practice, I opened my own taxidermy studio in Jonesboro, Georgia right after graduating from high school.

Since the early 90's I've also worked as a mechanic at Delta Airlines, all the while continuing to perfect my taxidermy technique. Due to demand, I'm expanding Brad Jones Taxidermy and offering a full array of taxidermy services to the public once again.

My wife Melanie and I invite you to call for an appointment, stop by and see our McDonough, GA taxidermy gallery. We would like to share our love of hunting, fishing and the outdoors with you, and help preserve your trophy as your taxidermist.

My Promise

I make two promises to each and every client. First, I promise to stay out of the woods and off the lakes long enough to get your work done in a reasonable amount of time. Secondly, I'll do everything I can to create a masterpiece with your trophy, and make you proud to display it in your home or office.

The first promise is sometimes tough, but the second is not.
